Entry Description: The publication’s objective is to highlight and reflect the new mission of the Commission, which is to facilitate growth within Singapore’s economy through healthy competition. Because the emphasis of the annual report is something economically fundamental, we went with "Economics 101", which goes back to basics. The publication has a clean and uncluttered look and feel - almost similar to that of an economic textbook. Its photographs show the development of a structural foundation, going hand in hand with the Commission’s focus of building on the basic and fundamental. As for the sleeve of the annual report, its complexity highlights the simplicity of “Economics 101” within.
